Dr. Ryan B. McMahan

Diplomate, American Board of Endodontics

Dr. Ryan B. McMahan is a member of the College of Diplomates and serves as a trustee for the American Association of Endodontics Foundation. He also sits on the board of directors of the Michigan Association of Endodontists and is the principal and founder of Otsego Endodontists. Dr. McMahan received his Master’s in Science (Endodontics) as well as his Certificate in Endodontics at the University of Michigan. His research “Brain Changes, Before, During and After Clinical Pain’, was published in the Journal of Dental Research in 2018. In 2017, Dr. McMahan placed second nationally at the resident research award ceremony in New Orleans. He completed a General Practice Residency at the Detroit VA Medical Center in 2014. Dr. McMahan earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2013 from The University of Michigan. He received a Master’s in Physiology through the veterinary school at North Carolina State University in 2008. Dr. McMahan received his Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Appalachian State University in 2006. In his spare time, Dr. McMahan enjoys no-limit hold ‘em poker, golf, and finance.
